HyperCard is a programming environment, which allows the user
flexibility in creating applications for personal and/or educational use.
Developed HyperCard stacks for an
individual with cerebral palsy who must control the computer through the use of
a pointing device attached to her head and a program, Clicker, developed by Tim
Nufire. One stack developed allows
the individual to manipulate text and files and to have the computer's speech
synthesizer verbalize the text.
Another stack allows the individual to paint using the HyperCard
painting tools and to save and recall previous graphics developed.
